Hello smurfers, what's up?
Not only I am an artist but I am a programmer too!!! =D This is something that will be posted on DMZX when I am done, (I'll also post a link to the finished project here when I'm done). I am programming a smurfs game for MegaZeux and I will be making it on an old version, version 2.51 (which was used from around between 1996-1999 or something) because I like nostalgia! I am hoping for this game to be finished by January 30 2012. I will create my own .MOD music files for the game along with the Smurfs theme on the title screen and other compositions of my own I will create for the game.
Around everyday or so, I will post what has been going on with my process of the game and probably give you some possible screenshots if anything.
I will create this game under one of my customized company names, I don't know which one though but lol anyways.

MegaZeux is a programming language that has spawned many versions. It was first written by Gregory Janson who used to make games on ZZT (another DOS language, by Tim Sweeney in February 3 1990) such as Code Red, Robots From Gemrule...etc. She was so inspired by the language and wanted to create a DOS game called Labyrinth of Zeux in 1993 (no, this was not made on MegaZeux or ZZT). Then she worked on creating a language based of ZZT called MegaZeux in 1993-1994, and wanted to create a built-in game which is the sequel to Labyrinth of Zeux called Caverns of Zeux and is the second out of fifth in the trilogy, but the first to be made on MegaZeux. The first public version released, 1.00g was from December 4 1994 and was for the MS-DOS and is the earliest version to be found online. The 6 unreleased betas called 1.00a-f can't be found on the internet as probably no one has it, or maybe very few but I ain't sure. Gregory's last version was 2.51, which was from November 5, 1996 and after this version, they quit. But many people became fans of MegaZeux at that time, even a few experienced programmers of that language took the source code for MegaZeux and made new versions starting from 2.51s1 in January 17, 1999 which was made by Spider_124. New versions are made today, the current version is 2.83 which was exactly just after New Year's Day in 2010 (January 2 2010) by ajs. Hello, I haven't necessarily done some programming to the game today, BUT I have brainstormed some more ideas on what is going to be in this game:
*the game would kind of be based off the game RISK, and an adventure game in general *the title screen will have an animated intro *before you play the game will display a storyline *Gargamel will be the final boss with 99 lives *each smurf will start off with 3 lives *there will be around 15-20 stages of randomly created enemies in mini-castles who are in Gargamel's team and also try to capture the smurfs *during each round, there will be 5 100x100 boards of The Smurf Village plus the enemy's castle. *there will be shops available during every single stage for supplies! AND MANY MORE TO FOLLOW!
