I was just thinking when I was playing Dante's Inferno of how a Smurf boss battle with someone like Gargamel (or something like the Howlibird) can be presented in a 3D Smurfs videogame. I have seen Link go up against some really big creatures in the 3D Legend Of Zelda games that could serve as a model for a Smurf game boss battle. Then, if we could use an M-rated game as an example, there's Dante fighting against a giant Phlegyas in Dante's Inferno which involved some Dragon's Lair-ish quicktime sequences to unseat whoever's controlling the beast. And though I have barely seen any playthroughs of the God of War games, there's some parts where the main character has to go against some really big creatures. For a more comic example, there's The Simpsons Game level "Shadow Of The Colossal Donut" where Bart and Homer Simpson tag-team against the rampaging Lard Lad Donuts mascot in order to shut him down, and Homer celebrates their triumph against the mascot by pounding it in the cookies. Just some things a game designer can use if they're going to design a 3D Smurfs videogame that isn't some cookie-cutter licensed game shovelware.
