Title: Clumsy's New Pet
Summary: When a small bird is let go after saving it, Papa Smurf convinces his little Smurfs to get a pet of their very own. Clumsy adopts a pet turkey who is enormously huge and is equally accident-prone as the smurfy klutz, but also has an equally big heart. Meanwhile, Gargamel is planning to capture the Smurfs with his patented freeze balls (an element borrowed from The Lost Village). When the Smurfs are captured, it is up to Tom Turkey to save the day. After rescuing the blue creatures from a horrible fate, he decides to leave the village and made a promise that he'll come back someday.

A sketch dump of poses and expressions for Vic "Twenty" George's Empath Smurf. This is an attempt at bringing the cartoony squash-and-stretch art style into the character. As you can see here, it portrays Empath's personality pretty well (including the ability to fly). One of these poses shows him bumping into Clumsy Smurf, while playing a game of smurfball or trying to remind his Papa Smurf of danger.

Not bad, Matthew. I used to physically distort the characters when I drew them by hand, like with Papa Smurf's reaction to many Smurfs wanting his undivided attention for a card design.
Also, Empath wearing a shirt is my design choice for his normal character, as he tends to see himself as "naked" in just a hat and pants. That is, if Smurfette isn't busy helping him get over this self-conscious view of himself.

Brainy tells his fellow Smurfs that it's only three leagues from here to get to the bridge and decides to sing a marching song to stroll the miles away. Hefty Smurf plugs his ears, worried of the thought that Brainy sings annoyingly off-key. Empath, on the other hand, convinces the strong Smurf to take it easy and that everything will be fine.

I enjoy Painter's expression, Butterfrogmantis, he looks pretty startled indeed! Patience, Hefty, it could even be worse if Peewit were with you instead of Brainy... By the way, very cool Smurf art featuring Empath, MG!

A new piece of fan art based on the cover of my translation to " The Smurfs of the Law ", but with Clumsy added as a comic relief to the situations and has a major role alongside Brainy and Hefty.

A fan-made DVD cover I created showing some of Smurfette's best episodes from the first and second seasons of the 1980s cartoon show. If it were real, it would have an intro theme with lyrics and newly-animated wraparounds (with the characters voiced by a cast of Canadian voice actors, retaining the spirit of the original voices), in a similar manner to Disney's Mickey and Friends' Greatest Hits. The following episodes showcased in this direct-to-video compliation are:
1. The Smurfette (Season 1) 2. Romeo and Smurfette (Season 1) 3. Smurfette’s Dancing Shoes (Season 1) 4. Squeaky (Season 2) 5. Sister Smurf (Season 2) 6. My Smurfy Valentine (Season 2)
The DVD cover is designed in a similar way to UK DVD releases of The Smurfs, complete with scenes from four of the original episodes.

He he he, unlike his colleagues Clumsy doesn't seem to be aware of what he needs to do since he's also become a boy, I mean, Smurf in uniform... And Smurfette herself would love your DVD idea. Very smurfy and charming job, MG! ![[Smurfette]](graemlins/smurfette.gif)

Wander and Sylvia have been transported into a world as human beings in a medieval setting. The two soon discover little blue creatures called the Smurfs and they need their help on getting back to their universe, so they can defeat Lord Hater and the Watchdogs. This story is considered non-canon to both The Smurfs and Wander Over Yonder.

Bashful and Clumsy Smurf visit Papa Smurf to ask for a solution to Bashful's problem. The solution is to pick out a job or skill to help him find out what his purpose in life is and prove to be a lot more than just a Smurf who is unlucky and very shy with social anxiety. After thanking Papa for the advice, Clumsy grabs Bashful by the hand and dashed off to start with farming. Farmer Smurf would be more than pleased to let Bashful help him with his crops.

Bashful Smurf dreams about meeting a girl fairy named Violet (voiced by Julie Kavner). In reality, he is too shy to talk to her and has a hard time asking her out. This is based on Charlie Brown’s attempts to go with the Little Red-Haired Girl from Charles M. Schulz’s comic strip, Peanuts.

Two anonymous Smurfs open a medium-sized present together, where Jokey splatters a cream pie on each of their faces and jumps out of the present laughing as he ran off. The two Smurfs are angered and knew it was Jokey Smurf inside the present.

Empath Smurf receives a present from Jokey Smurf, who guarantees he'll get a "big bang" out of it. Empath understood what "big bang" meant by opening the present and it explodes right in his face, much to Jokey's amusement. Empath responds mildly in anger by saying, "One of these days, Jokey Smurf! This smurf is going to give out a prank you won't forget!"

It's hard for Jokey to fool Empath with the "exploding present" gag since Empath with his touch-telepathy can sense the contents of any object.

Both Empath and Hefty Smurf stare at each other nose-to-nose with angry glares and wicked grins. This pose takes inspiration from the 1984 animated special, "The Smurfic Games" (not to be confused with the 1980 comic book of the same name).

Feeling unappreciated by his fellow Smurfs, Bashful decides to run away from the village and live in the forest, taking his bare essentials with him. The poor thing did his best to make a fire to keep himself warm, but it was cut short by a blizzard. He chitters his teeth, fearing that he'd soon die with no nourishment and beverages. Every Smurf, including Brainy, felt bad for driving Bashful away and formed a search party to bring him back.
This is an attempt at adding special effects to give the scene more of a cinematic feel. Hanna-Barbera never used cloudy effects and motion blur back when the show was in production during the 1980s. Thanks to the advancement of digital technology, these special effects can be applied for sequences that involve the weather. It can also be applied for dramatic and/or action sequences that make the story more exciting.

A remake of a scene from "Smurf Me No Flowers", set in the universe of EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf. In it, Duncan McSmurf is in place of Clumsy Smurf and is annoyed, along with Smurfette, when Brainy starts to annoyingly reveal about Lazy's demise.
This is a colorful preliminary sketch reserved only for its creator, Vic George, to make changes and edits when cleaning up the image.

Remember Lucky Smurf from “The Gambling Smurfs”? Well, he’s finally getting a makeover by having a new shirt and vest with a four-leaf clover pin. In the original comics, he was just a normal Smurf rolling a pair of dice and placing bets on any Smurf. This was done to help avoid confusion with fans.

I've been toying with the idea of making Lucky Smurf Tapper's brother or something (right now he's only related to being of the same clan as Tapper).

A tricky leprechaun cursed Brainy Smurf with green shoes that cause him to dance uncontrollably, every time he's being bossy to his own fellow Smurfs. Elements inspired by Roger Hargreaves' Little Miss Bossy (1981) and Porky Pig's "The Wearing of the Grin (1951)".
