I LOVED and collected smurfs as a kid. I do have the praying smurfs and the historical smurfs. Are they really worth anything? They are in great shape. I always kept them on a display shelf..

Hi Amy3265! Glad to see you on Bluebuddies!
Your History Smurfs are definitely rare, and according to the History Smurfs Prices Tommy Edison goes for $85! The lowest is Abe Lincoln for thirty bucks, which ain't bad.
According to the Christmas Ornament Smurf Prices, your two praying Smurfs are worth $200 EACH!
So....can I borrow $10?
You have very rare Smurfs and you should be proud! What is your favorite, of your rarest or otherwise??

That is SOOOOO great to find out!! I should upload the nerdy picture of me as a kid (with my feathered 80's hair) standing in front of my massive smurf collection! I would, but I want to cling to my tiny shreds of self esteem I don't really know all that I have. Sadly, some of the buildings I had have dissapeared over time. I do have about 108 smurfs. They are in great condition. I'm really excited to have just bought the massive display case on Ebay so that I can get these out of their box and put them up. Thank goodness I have kids and can make it look like I'm doing it for them..when we all know it's really for me. Can't believe I'm 30-ish and still love these little guys!!!! Takes me right back to the carefree days of my childhood. If I could give my kids one thing in life it would be the carefree days of growing up in the 80's when cartoons were STILL just for kids and ended at 10am. Bratz dolls would have been banned and Strawberry Shortcake didn't have a mini skirt and eye shadow. Anyway, I'm rambling. I am really happy I found this site..don't tell my husband ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

LOL Amy3265 I love feathered hair!
Yeah I know these guys are an obsession, first you start with a display case then you get an entire room! Then you have to build a wing on the house! I've seen it before!
You know you're in trouble if you ever have to say "Don't touch mommy's toys! They're collectors items!!" LOL not that it would get that far.....? ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

OH MY GOSH..I told Isaac that yesterday (not to touch mommy's toys)..my mother in law was within earshot too..oops. I put the display case on the wall in Isaac's room..but..Ummm..ooops..I put it up so high he just can't seem to reach it...darn. I feel like Steve Carrel in 40 year old virgin..with his massive toy collection I actually used to make fun of my neighbor guy that has a room for his star wars toys...now I'm one of 'em..but smurfs are WAY better than Star Wars Anyway, at least I'm not alone...this is like a support group.
