Hey all. I thought I would let you all know that I gave you a plug to this site, forum, and users in my latest video blog. My video blog is about nostalgia and I mention the Smurfs and this site. I give the plug at about 2:09 in the video, I thought you all might be interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogX267wYy60

Shane, That was the saddest clip I've ever watched. I just cry buy watching it. I think I'm getting nostalgic, too. And It's not about the Smurfs, It's about another show that I also adore: Thomas & Friends.
About the scene where you were fliming, Were you right next to JFK airport?

You thought it was that sad, really? I'm glad you liked it. No, I'm nowhere near JFK airport. I'm all the way out in Suffolk County more in the central to east part of Long Island. JFK is on the very west end of the island, I'm about 50 or so miles from there. Thanks for watching.

Hello Shane, i like your video. I was able to feel all this nostalgy while i was watching it. You know I am a kind of nostalgic myself and i often think about my past, about the world where it is heading and i`m trying to find my place in it. Regards

Hi Shane, I just watched your video. Must say I’m touched! So sincere! Have the same. Turning 29 in November. And getting more nostalgic with the years! I guess the Saturday morning cartoons were a bit different in the Netherlands than in the USA, but I guess the nostalgic feeling is the same… Cause that’s also the moment I miss most… Those Saturday mornings with cartoons back in your childhood… Just wanted to let you know you’re not the only one in this. And yes, your number one question: it’s getting worse with the years. And my favourite period is also mid eighties, early nineties… (With of course the smurfs as favorites!) Well, that’s what I wanted to let you know. Glad to know I’m not alone in this ;-) Marjolein

Wow, thank you all for the awesome feedback. I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling like this. I think I'm going to make this a series, this video being the general opener. Any other videos about nostalgia will be specific subjects. I've been planning since November to make an in depth video addressing my feelings about how cartoons have changed through the years since the 80s and how Saturday mornings are so boring now since cartoons today are no good. I don't know when I'll get to it because I have to be in the right mood for me to speak from my heart. Thanks again for the feedback.

Speaking of nostalgia : Brigde of Sighs
I was inspired to make this 3D graphic after watching your video Shane, and by a computer game named Homeworld (propably the best PC game I`ve ever played). A Brigde Of Sighs is a preety good place for feeling nostalgia. So if you are nostalgic, find Brigde of Sighs inside you

That's a cool looking picture, Vega. So, this is the image that was going through your head when you were watching my video? That's cool that you took what you were visualizing and put it to a digital image.

Thanks Shane, i`m glad that you like the image too. By the way i always associate nostalgia with such places. Foggy night on the peaceful bridge, with a partially clouded sky, so only moonlight can pass through. In other words all you need for nostalgic mood. Thanks again
