Hey all you smurfy fans out their! Don't buy the DVD collection box set of the Smurfs! There's something missing! The total number of episodes (including the specials) is actually 421! The other 87 Eps. in this so call "complete box set" are missing! Believe me, I've been counting the eps. Look, click on Cartoon Episode Guide and start counting! You'll see what I mean. And do something to fix this error! I suggest you should launch a campaign or contact Warner Bros. to redo this mistake. So hurry my smurfy fans, hurry! I counting on you! ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

Are you smurfs fans helping me? Did you all look at my previous message? I've been waiting for your replies for days. All of you know that Warner Bros. or Hanna Barbera already release the complete(which is not!) Smurfs DVD collection box sets. I found out that it contains only 334 episodes(3 are speicals) and the movie - Smurfs and the magic flute. But the actual number of episodes is really 421, from all 9 seasons! The other 87(and other 3 speicals)eps are missing!
So I'm saying is this is not a complete set, and try contacting WB's or HB to redo this error. I'll be making a list of the missing episodes soon. So keep in touch with me ASAP my smurfy fans
AmtrakSmurf over and out of Bluebuddies station!
P. S. All of you know why I'm called AmtrakSmurf? Because I love trains! Espeical Amtrak! But the Smurfs is most important to me.
P. P. S. Think they could make Smurfs with the logos of Amtrak or Acela?! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Peep! Peep! Now arriving at Bluebuddies station is; Me! Amtraksmurf! I have some smurfy and unsmurfy news. The smurfy news is, I found out that WB or HB, release the actual complete Smurfs DVD collection box set. I found it on this web site: www.TVBoxSet.com. It has All 430 episodes(including the specials and movie) and an episode guide to find your favorite ep(s). Now I can't wait to get it!
The unsmurfy news is, Some other websites are still advertizing the one that only contains 334 eps.(with 3 specials and the movie). So don't buy this. If you did, return it! Contact WB or HB to stop this rubbish.
Amtraksmurf, Now departing from Bluebuddies station. Saying; Smurf you later. Peep! Peep! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

None of the stuff on that site look right. I looked at some of their other box sets, it all looks unofficial. Not something I'd like to put money into. I say buyer beware.

Yeah, it would be certainly nice to have. I would love to have all the episodes because I missed so much and don't remember a lot of them and want to see ones that I do remember or barely remember. It's well over 25 years since the Smurfs first premiered, why can't they just release an official box set already?

Hi amtraksmurf,
Shane and I are saying that those DVDs look fake, phony, pirated, non official and not made by Warner. The cover doesn't look right, does it? The logo is all wrong. And 430 episodes for $99? Thats a steal.
Don't get me wrong, I bet they have all the episodes on those discs, but they are probably copied from the TV and old videos.

I don't doubt that it has all the episodes, the problem I have is that it's obviously not officially released by WB or HB. There are no reference to WB or HB officially releasing a box set of the Smurfs as of yet, the only reference is THAT SITE which obviously is selling pirated copies of shows that someone recorded and collected. It doesn't look legal to me and I would be wary of buying a box set that isn't legal.

All right, I'll wait. And please let me know when it comes out soon, and still I'm not getting the one with 334 eps. and 3 specials. Those could be fakes too. I hope you two(Shane Jensen and Smurfy1for2) are contacting WB or HB. I really want it so smurfy badly(all 430 eps, all 6 specials and the movie of course).[sigh] ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

You and me both, amtraksmurf. I want to have all the episodes so badly myself. Like I said, I missed so many in the last few seasons, in fact, I missed the seventh and eighth seasons completely. Long story which I'll share sometime, but yeah, I really need to have all the episodes to see what I missed.
Do you have the contact information to contact WB or HB?

I don't think we'll have to wait too long if this info is correct. According to Wikipedia WB is planning to start releasing the DVDs this year.

Here is what I found
1. In June 2006 TVShowsonDVD had an online chat with WB about Smurfs and WB mentioned 2007 as the release date.
2. Again in June 2006 Home Theater Forum had an online chat with WB about releasing the Smurf TV show on DVD and they fixed the release date at JUNE 5, 2007, and then each season coming out every three months (Season 2 coming out 3 months later, Season 3 three months after Season 2's release, etc etc until all are released)
So June 5th it is.

Do you mean all 9 season, 430 eps., 6 specials, and the movie Smurfs and the Magic flute? 'Cause I rather buy them all in one box set instead of getting them seperately. It also sounds like they'll release each season through till next year. I cannot wait that long.[sigh] ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

That doesn't sound too bad to me. We've been waiting almost twenty years since the end of the series, what is one more year? I can live with that and remember, good things come to those who wait. At least we know it's definitely coming, right?
I don't know about the specials. The movie will probably definitely NOT be on there since that came prior to the series by HB. You could always get the movie separately, you could probably find it on Ebay or something.
