After listening to part of an audiobook, I thought about smurfing what could happen next:
Something happens and the river is poisoned, causing strange side effects to occur to whoever is exposed to it.
Season 7 characters
Be as creative as possible, but keep it family friendly.

*the episode starts with the Smurflings by the river playing and swimming*
Sassette: Flipping Froggies, this feels smurfy!

*however, the Smurflings are so busy playing, they don't notice that the river's becoming mucky and brown*
*back at the village, Farmer notices that his crops are all withered*
Clumsy: Uh, gee Farmer, looks like your plants didn't wanna grow.
Farmer: I don't understand, I've watered me crops for weeks and now they're all withered!
Clumsy: Uh, maybe they just didn't like your water?
*at the same time, a scream is heard from Greedy's house*
Greedy: I used water in my Smurfberry juice, but now they taste like mud!
Smurfette: Oh dear, my poor garden is ruined!
