Handy: No use worrying ahead of time. If Papa Smurf has been delaying to smurf the way to cure Dreamy, it's because he's still studying about it. Let's be optimistic!

Brainy: You know who's the opposite of optimistic? Grouchy.
Grouchy: I HATE optimistic!
Brainy: See what I mean?
Handy starts looking annoyed and worried in the face.
Handy: Brainy, please!
Clumsy raises his hand.
Clumsy: Uh, Smurfs. I'll volunteer on finding a cure for Dreamy!
Brainy: Since when are you so concerned about his condition, Clumsy?
Clumsy: He's a Smurf! That's what Smurfs do for each other! Remember when Lazy had a similar condition a while back?
Brainy: Good point...
So, the Smurfs went off into the forest to find a cure for Dreamy themselves.
Clumsy: Uh, according to the book, the cure for eternal slumber is an awakening flower. It can only be found at a nearby bush.
Brainy: Is it a daisy bush, Clumsy?
Clumsy: Uh, nope...
Brainy: Roses?
Clumsy: A dandelion bush.
Smurfs: (all but Brainy and Clumsy) Dandelions?
Brainy: So, the dandelion is the antidote?
Clumsy: Uh-huh.
A few minutes later, The Smurfs went over to a dandelion bush.
Handy: Clumsy was right.
Brainy: I can't believe it! It's like no bush I've ever seen!
Clumsy: And here it is! (points to the antidote, which is a dandelion covered with an awakening spell. He grabs it from the bush.)
Brainy: You're obsessed with these things, aren't you?
Clumsy: Maybe... But we should just give it a try!

Back at the village, the Smurfs brought an awakening flower to Dreamy's house.
Clumsy: All we have to do is put the flower next to Dreamy on his nightstand and he'll be fit as a Smurf again.
Brainy: Clumsy's out of his smurf. His plan will never succeed.
Hefty: (angry) Smurf up, Brainy! You don't own us!
Brainy: (glares at Hefty) But Papa Smurf put me in charge. You know very well I'm the most important Smurf.
Clumsy: Uh, can you guys keep it down? I'm trying to find the right vase for this flower.

Clumsy approaches the forever sleeping smurf and places the vase on his nightstand before backing up a few paces and letting out a sigh of relief.
Clumsy: Now, all we have to do is wait.

Dreamy: Smurfs? Is that you?

Dreamy (stretching and yawning widely while sitting on the bed): Oh my... I've had such a good smurfy sleep! (Now realizing he's no more in the forest) But, wait... Did you bring me here?
Hefty (serious): Sorry if I seem to be a spoilsmurf, Dreamy, but the fact is that you were under a terrible spell!
Dreamy (with eyes wide open): Me, under a spell? Really?
Smurfette: That's right, Dreamy! We found you in the forest totally asleep, and there was no way of smurfing you up!

Clumsy: Uh, yup! But I found a solution that Papa Smurf wouldn't even think of!
Dreamy: A dandelion! So, it was the antidote that woke me up?
Clumsy: Uh-huh.
Dreamy: Thank you for saving my life, Clumsy!
Dreamy got out of bed and hugged Clumsy. Clumsy starts to blush.
Clumsy: Aw, gosh. You would've done the same thing for me.
Brainy: Honestly, I'm surprised your plan actually worked, Clumsy. Sorry for doubting you.

Clumsy: Huh, that's OK, Brainy. If you had this idea first, I'm smurfsure you would smurf it even better!
(Brainy was about to reply: "Of course I would", but his guardian angel came to him, whispering: "Brainy, Brainy, Brainy... Don't be haughty! Remember Clumsy is your best friend, so let him be the hero of the day.")
Brainy (agreeing mentally with him and smiling at Clumsy): Hmmm... Maybe not. Well, how about telling Papa Smurf about Dreamy's cure?

Papa Smurf: Great Smurfs! So you got just what I hadn't smurfed so far?!
Brainy (smiling brightly): Not exactly... In fact it was all thanks to Clumsy Smurf, my best friend! (At this moment Clumsy blushes and also smiles, but with embarrassment.)
(The other Smurfs change glances, admired by Brainy's attitude, but say nothing.)
Papa Smurf: Well, I wish I could see this by myself! Where's Dreamy now? Is he in bed, yet?
Smurfette: Not at all... Dreamy, come on!
(Smurfette leads Dreamy to Papa Smurf, so that he stands just before the Smurf leader.)

Dreamy: Oh, Papa Smurf, you wouldn't believe it! I was trapped in eternal slumber and Clumsy saved me with an antidote!
Papa Smurf: Well, the most important thing is you're safe. But you shouldn't have sniffed the slumber flower in the first place, so I'll let you off with a warning.
