Narrator: (o.s.) What strange place lies around in our lives? And why was it there in the first place? Nobody knew where it was, all except for one bear. A bear who experienced it with his own eyes. This bear is Winnie the Pooh (or Pooh, for short). Now, Pooh would tell his friend Christopher Robin of his strange encounter with little blue people. And it all happened outside the Hundred Acre Wood.
The story begins with a book that says "Winnie the Pooh and The Smurfs". The book opens to show a map of the Hundred Acre Wood.
Singers: Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood Where Christopher Robin plays You'll find the enchanted neighborhood Of Christopher's childhood days
A donkey named Eeyore is his friend And Kanga And little Roo
There's Rabbit and Piglet Then, there's Owl But, most of all, Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh (Pooh) Winnie the Pooh (Pooh) Tubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff He's Winnie the Pooh Winnie the Pooh Nilly, willy, silly old bear
The pages flip to the start of the story with Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh sitting together on a meadow.
Narrator: (o.s.) One day in the meadow, Winnie the Pooh, a bear of very little brain, started telling his friend Christopher Robin about a strange encounter.
Winnie the Pooh: Christopher Robin, there's something I'd like to tell you. I have seen some strange things on that day.
Christopher Robin: Which, Pooh Bear?
Winnie the Pooh: There were these mushroom houses with tiny blue creatures that wear white clothing, sing and dance, eat nuts, berries and leaves for nutrition, and have a fondness of honey.
Christopher Robin: My, my, this is hard to believe. Can you explain to me, just what happened?
Winnie the Pooh: Well, it all started when I woke up in my house.
The flashback starts with Winnie the Pooh in his house under the name of Sanders.
Winnie the Pooh: (o.s.) I had a rumbly in my tumbly. It was time for breakfast. When I went to my cupboard, all the honey jars were empty. So, I set off into the woods to harvest some more. On my daily stroll, I sung a little ditty, which goes like this.
Winnie the Pooh starts singing his song while strolling through the woods with a honey jar.
Winnie the Pooh: I'm off to find some honey Made by productive honey bees Searching for some honey Oh, where, where could the hive be
There must be one right here, no This tree must have one, not really A small one has no hive in sight, so I still need to search for a honey tree
So many trees in the forest Can't decide which one to take If I don't find honey soon I'll get a rumbly, tumbly ache.
As the song ends, Winnie the Pooh sighs as his tummy continues to rumble.
Winnie the Pooh: Oh, bother.
Pooh goes back to searching for the honey tree.
Winnie the Pooh: (o.s.) It took longer than I thought to find a honey tree. But then, I realized… something went wrong.
Christopher Robin: (o.s.) What went wrong, Pooh?
Winnie the Pooh: (o.s.) This map accidentally led me to another forest where all animals behave like, well… ordinary animals.
Winnie the Pooh soon enters a population of small mushroom houses.
Winnie the Pooh: (o.s.) Then, I came across a field full of mushroom houses. I didn't know where I was going at the time. Suddenly, something caught my eye. It was a honey pot sitting next to a tiny windmill building. I gently put the empty one down and went over to the one at this very spot. There was no thought spot, so I made one right here to find out who it belongs to.
Winnie the Pooh sat down next to the honey pot and did his thinking.
Winnie the Pooh: Think, think, think, think…
Fade to a group of Smurfs returning home to the village with chestnuts, hazelnuts, smurfberries and sarsaparilla for their celebration.
Winnie the Pooh: (o.s.) And while I was thinking, what I didn't know was that little blue creatures of three apples high live in these mushroom houses. They were returning home with nuts, berries and leaves of sarsaparilla. And on their way home, they sung a little song of their own.

Winnie the Pooh (adding): And they seemed to be so happy! I remember their song until today:
🎶 La la la-la la la, Sing a happy song. La la la-la la la, Smurf your whole day long.
La la la-la la la Smurf along with me! La la la-la la la Simple as can be.
Next time you're feeling blue just let a smile begin, Happy things will come to you...
So smurf yourself a grin!
La la la-la la la, Now you know the tune,
You'll be Smurfing soon! 🎶

Winnie the Pooh: (o.s.) But when they returned home, they mistook me for a trespasser.
Smurfs: (gasp, unison) It's a bear!
Winnie the Pooh: (o.s.) They thought I was a dangerous beast and started to panic and run around in circles. Not only do they think I was a trespasser on their property, they also thought I was a honey napper (considered the fact my tumbly was still rumbly).

Winnie the Pooh: So, I tried to calm them down: "Please, little blue guys, don't be afraid! I don't wish to do you any harm." Then one of them approached me cautiously. It looked like a blue-skinned mini Santa Claus.
Christopher (smiling): A blue-skinned mini Santa Claus? He must be very cute to see.
Winnie the Pooh: That's right. He observed me a bit and then talked to me:
"You are a talking little bear! But what are you smurfing here? Are you lost?"
I got surprised at once. "Smurfing"? What could be this? And this was just the beginning...

Papa Smurf: Oh, pardon. It's the way we Smurfs speak.
Winnie the Pooh: Uh, question: Where am I?
Papa Smurf: You're in Smurf Village. And what I meant was, "What are you doing?"
Winnie the Pooh: Oh. Just thinking of what this honey belongs to?

Winnie the Pooh (adding): "But please, don't think I intended to steal your honey. The matter is that I was looking for a honey tree, but something wrong happened. I perceived that when I found myself in a forest where the animals looked like, well... common ones."
Papa Smurf: "Hmmm... So do you mean the animals that habit the place where you smurfed from... I mean, came from, are like you?"
Winnie the Pooh: "Exactly, sir."
Papa Smurf: "Just because you look like a cute plush little bear. And very nice, too!"
Winnie the Pooh (blushing and smiling): "..."

Brainy Smurf: But isn't he the honey napper?
Hefty Smurf: Honey napper?! Ha! Do you think a honey napper would behave like that?!He's just a harmless stuffed teddy bear!
Clumsy Smurf: Uh, that's right!
Lazy Smurf: You smurfed it!
Dreamy Smurf: Can't argue with Hefty!
Smurfette: Until we help him find his way home, we'll make him feel welcome in ours. Right, Papa Smurf?
Papa Smurf: At least until we know where he comes from, I don't see no reason why to let him stay for a while.

Papa Smurf: Pleased to meet you, Pooh Bear. We were working on gathering food for our celebration together.
Clumsy Smurf: Uh, yup. We got chestnuts, hazelnuts, smurfberries, sarsaparilla...
Greedy Smurf: And especially honey.
Winnie the Pooh: You harvest honey, too?
Greedy Smurf: Of course.

Winnie the Pooh: Is there anything to do for do, while I'm here?
Papa Smurf: I guess you can start by helping the other Smurfs with the decorations. You'll be our supervisor for the day. Would you like that?
Winnie the Pooh: Yes, sir. I would like it very much. But, uh, what does a supervisor do?

Papa Smurf: A supervisor is someone who checks to make sure everything is just right. And if one needs help to do a certain task, the supervisor shows one how to do it.

Winnie the Pooh: (narrating, o.s.) And so, I was put in charge of supervising the decorations in the village. But there are some parts I didn't understand: the others mistreated the one with the glasses just for talking so much. (Pooh sees Brainy get tossed out of the village for talking on and on, looking confused) And the one who likes to give out exploding gifts.

Christopher (frowning): This sounds a bit crazy, Pooh Bear!
Winnie the Pooh: That's right! And there's more: sometimes they had been quarrelling because of the only girl in the village!
Christopher (surprised): Only a girl? Then aren't there any others like her?
Winnie the Pooh: Their leader told me about Smurfette, that's her name. A very bad wizard had created her to provoke conflict among them, but she became good and friendly later!

Behind Pooh Bear is Grouchy Smurf, who is seen grouching, as usual.
Winnie the Pooh: (narrating, o.s.) So, anywho... While I was busy helping, I came across a little blue creature who tends to grouch a lot. In fact, this was his only human emotion.
Winnie the Pooh: Hello, little one. What's your name?
Grouchy: Grouchy.
Winnie the Pooh: Hmmm... Grouchy. Do you like decorating?
Grouchy: I HATE decorating!
Winnie the Pooh: Uh... how do you feel about celebrations?
Grouchy: I HATE celebrations!

Winnie the Pooh: "Oh, what a pity you don't enjoy celebrations. Where I come from, they are usually very colorful and fun!"
Smurfette (approaching him): Never mind, Pooh Bear; Grouchy is just like this, but also a very smurfy guy!
Winnie the Pooh (a bit intrigued, but smiling soon): "Smurfy? Oh, I got it; I suppose you meant nice, right, miss?"
Smurfette (giggling): "Yes, indeed! Please smurf along with me, we need your opinion for an arrangement that we've just smurfed for our meal table."

So, Winnie the Pooh went over to see the Smurfs' meal table, set with plenty of plates, napkins and utensils on a tablecloth.
Smurfette: Well, what do you think?
Winnie the Pooh: Uh, Smurfette. I think the tablecloth looks, uh... pink.
Smurfette: I picked it myself.

Pooh Bear then sees Hefty (who is angry) pick Lazy up and shake him.
Hefty: Lazy Smurf! (puts him down) Do as Papa Smurf says and get the firewood for Greedy's oven!
Lazy: Yes, sir, Hefty, sir. (walks away)
Pooh Bear turns to Smurfette.
Winnie the Pooh: Ah, yes. I see what you mean.

Winnie the Pooh (smiling): "So you Smurfs met a bear just like me! And how did it happen?"
Dreamy: "Well, he's somewhat different of you, since he's got some colorful rags. It all started when our river dried up, and then..."
(So, while Winnie the Pooh goes on working, Dreamy tells him about the discovery the Smurfs had done as well as the meeting with Patchwork, when they learned the freeze inside the cave was due to the villainous Crackle, who had imprisoned the Emerald Empress whom the patch toy bear served as a guardian.)
