Based off the original comic book story, "The Smurfs of the Law", originally known in French as "Les Schtroumpfs de L'Ordre".

Summary: Papa Smurf must intervene every now and then in minor quarrels between Smurfs. He cannot therefore fully engage in his experiments. To get some peace, democratic laws are being voted to guarantee order in the village. Because the Smurfs do not always spontaneously comply with the laws, Brainy Smurf is instructed to monitor compliance with the law: he becomes a Police Smurf. He is given the power to punish the others and gets Hefty Smurf as his (strong) right hand man. At the same time, Clumsy Smurf is recruited to play between both "good cop" and "bad cop". The penalties do not go down well with the others.
There is a fair in the village, but many attractions appear to be sabotaged. The Police Smurfs search in vain for the perpetrator, but Papa Smurf knows how to identify the perpetrator: it is Smurf, an unnamed Smurf who takes care of the lanterns at parties. He's tired of not being recognized for that and just being good at paying fines, while some others gush the dance. The Smurfs forgive Smurf, now called "Lantern Smurf".
The next day, Brainy Smurf sees Lantern Smurf walking out of a shed. A few moments later a serious fire starts in the shed. The Smurf is blamed and imprisoned, but he escapes and tries to convince Smurfette and Papa Smurf of his innocence. Papa Smurf investigates himself and finds that a carelessly left magnifying glass of Brainy Smurf has set the barn on fire. Lantern Smurf gets apologies and the trio of Police Smurfs give up. The other Smurfs are not eager to take their role and think that from now on it can continue without the police. If there is still a problem, then of course there is ... Papa Smurf!

Rules:

2. No darkening the source material.
3. This roleplay is a combination of both the original comics and 1980s cartoon show. Feel free to include characters such as Tracker, Tuffy, Dreamy, etc.
4. The focus is primarily on the 100 adult Smurfs, Papa Smurf and Smurfette. Baby Smurf will still have a minor role here. Brainy and Hefty are still the main focus as in the original story, with Clumsy added in to provide the comic relief.

Early one morning in the Smurf village..
Robert Smurf: *knocks hole in his wall with his mallet* Time to get rid of this eyesore! I've been wanting a more open living room.
Grouchy, who had been asleep still, heard the noise from next door.
Grouchy: I HATE being woken up so early! *he goes outside to investigate*
Robert: *continues to knock down pieces of the wall*
Grouchy: You!
Robert: Good morning, Grouchy.
Grouchy: No, its not a good morning! I was trying to sleep and you're demolishing your home?!
Robert: I'm renovating. Its not that early anyway, Grouchy, you should be up by now.
Grouchy: I HATE getting up early.
Robert: Well that's your problem, not mine. If you'll excuse me, I have work to do.
Grouchy: No you don't! Do it later!
Robert: No, I have to get an early start so I can finish today. *continues hammering*
Grouchy: Well then, I hate to sound like Brainy, but I'm telling Papa Smurf!
Robert: If you want to go there, fine! Let's go tell Papa Smurf, he'll tell you the same thing I've told you, I'm sure.

Clumsy Smurf (whose sweeping the floor) turns to see two Smurfs heading towards the lab.

Clumsy Smurf: Uh, Papa Smurf? (points to Robert and Grouchy) Two angry Smurfs at 2 o'clock!
Papa Smurf: Quick! Remind them I'm not to be disturbed for any reason!
Clumsy Smurf: Sure, Papa Smurf! Uh...
(Clumsy gets hit by the door when Robert and Grouchy barge in.)
Robert and Grouchy: (unison) PAPA SMURF!!
(Papa Smurf accidentally spills acid on his finger.)
Papa Smurf: Ow! Clumsy!
Clumsy Smurf: (under the door) Uh, I'm behind the door, Papa Smurf.
