Hello guys, I have been checking out a lot of other 80s cartoon shows besides Smurf such as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Transformers, Snorks, and many more. I found out that although it may seem a little girly for me, but I just found out that Jem and the Holograms is another great show for me, along with the Smurfs.
It's about this girl named Jerrica "Jem" Benton who has a sister by the name of Kimber Benton (also a Hologram) that grows up to be a rockstar, after her father died. Mr. Benton was a rockstar that was part of Starlight Music Corporation, so Jem wanted to be a part of that corporation too, but that nasty head of the company Eric doesn't let them and forces Jem and the Holograms to be in a battle of the bands with the Misfits (the only band that antagonizes Jem and her friends).

LOL, I can't believe that I'm a guy and I enjoy this stuff. Mainly because of it's new wave soundtracks sounding like a female version of Oingo Boingo (mainly The Misfit's stuff), and it's humour on the many of episodes. Also, I like it because it's related to one of my most favourite things besides computer technology, and programming: MUSIC.
Well, I know that besides Smurfs and Jem, I enjoy He-Man, some anime, Looney Tunes and several more!
Anyways, back to Jem! Posts: 1476 | From: Canada | Registered: Jun 2008

I wonder how it'd be like if Jem met the Smurfs and the Misfits met Gargamel...

Hey, that gives me a good idea of a role-play I should start later (maybe early April while this Spring Feels Like Summer role-play progresses at good rate?):
"The Tie-In Series: Smurfs, Snorks, Jem and a fourth 80s show (possibly He-Man or Samurai Pizza Cats?)"

Yeah, I think Samurai Pizza Cats would be good enough!
After all, I gotta know more about He-Man if I want to have He-Man as a series in the tie-in, so we're leaving him out for a bit.

Me either, I'm more familiar with the Holograms and the Misfits. But I know the other female in the Stingers is Minx, the only one without the wild hair.
