so i was looking the thing of the trailer (drawings, memes, opinions,ect...)but they made a meme that influencer smurf liked minors, even the meme spread in the spanish conmunity (which i am too lol), but when the joke was heard by paramount, they changed the joke with vanity, so they have deleted influencer off the movie, even with a new voice ![[Confused]](confused.gif) , so yeah, they have done it the second time (the first one was the trailer for the real action movie of sonic)

He's definitely in the top 5 smurfs who had it coming the most, him, Crypto Smurf, Gamer Smurf, Social Smurf and Diaper Daddy all are fair game for Gargie to nab

What is the Influencer Smurf meme?
In the first trailer for the new Smurfs movie, they introduce Influencer Smurf, who’s basically trying to be a cool YouTuber, even saying "Smash that subscribe button." Some thought this character was really cringe-worthy and a desperate attempt by the movie to appeal to kids who watch YouTube. This could be an over-reach because the movie may be using Influencer Smurf ironically. However, that didn't stop the Influencer Smurf meme from being born.
Almost immediately, people online started making jokes about how this Influencer Smurf would get "canceled" for doing something bad, like a scandal. The fact that Influencer Smurf was replaced by Vanity Smurf in a later movie trailer lends credence to this idea. People joked that Influencer Smurf was indeed canceled and got recast. Many of the jokes allude to real-life problems with some YouTubers who have been accused of inappropriate behavior.
Some believe the meme is funny because it points out how ridiculous and out-of-touch the movie’s attempt to be trendy feels. Others say the meme is a light hearted critique of influencer culture, turning the Influencer Smurf meme into a pastiche of every influencer scandal of the past few years.
The movie may be in on the joke as well, making fun of influencers and influencer culture in a tongue-in-cheek fashion. The entire meme may exist simply because people didn't get the joke that Influencer Smurf is a punchline, not an attempt to appeal. Intent doesn't always matter when something becomes memetic - often it is just fun to join-in.
Regardless of whether or not Influencer Smurf himself is "canceled", the Influencer Smurf meme is real and will be forever tied to the 2025 Smurfs movie.

I'd rather they fix it than leave it ugly, I suppose! The sonic one was truly a glowup. I think the influencer smurf being a creep immediately is bananas, didn't even give him a chance ![[Frown]](frown.gif)
