In my head, Dreamy is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, which is what I have.

i think that brainy smurf would be autistic possibly. he reminds me sometimes of things i do as an autistic person, but also things my autistic friends do too.

In truth, only less than 5 percent of people with ASD are geniuses.

In my EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf series, Dreamy is autistic and so also is Laconia the mute woodelf.
