Hello,
I know my OCD is going to run away so I thought I’d ask how to start sorting and collecting.
I met smurfs in the early 70s through petrol stations when I was knee high to a grass hopper. Like many things they went into the loft and stayed there for decades. Then my own son found them and we added tramping car boot sales. Then they went back to the loft.
Now, with no reason I could justify, I would like to collect all of the smurfs that would have been available back in the early 70s for the heck of it. ( I have no real interest in recent smurfs, happy meal smurfs etc)
Hopefully I have managed to upload pics of the smurfs currently knocking about.
Here’s the question, how do I readily identify the smurfs that are my vintage , separate out the others for rehoming so that I can then focus my OCD on the smurfs that we’re out and about when my Dad drove miles to National Garages.
Thank you for any nudges in the right direction.
Ian

Hi there, Ian! Welcome to Smurf village. You have a rather cool Smurf collection ideed! At first you can enter this link to see much about Smurf figurines (mostly Schleich ones), price guide and more! To make things a little easier, here's the Regular Smurfs ID Guide and Super Smurfs ID Guide. I hope this helps for a while!

Hey there! Nice collection. If you can find one (it should be on e-Bay or Etsy), get yourself a book called "the Smurfs Official Collector's Guide". It will be titled Gian & Davi Collezioni. White book with Blue top part. It has every different Smurf and all the markings. It lists Regular Smurfs, Super Smurfs, buildings, promotional Smurfs, and Pedestal Smurfs. Also, look over this site well. There's lots of good stuff here, too!
-------------------- Keep on Smurfin on.
