Topic: Someone on DeviantArt confuses Smurfs fanart for vectors

Hey guys!
So, I was looking on DeviantArt and suddenly saw a post that features some sort of images of Smurfs that can be used as stickers. Well, it's common for fans to make their own stickers by using official art or making their own art for their stickers, but this guy did something different...
For the so-called "sticker things", they accidentally thought fanarts and fan characters are official art, but they aren't, because they're fanmade!
Just to be clear, they accidentally used fanart (including fan characters) for their free DIY sticker set!
Just look for yourselves!

And of course, they didn't credit the original artists!
Remember guys, always check if the art is official or fanmade!

I can see some of my fanarts and those for the HERO: The Guardian Smurf story series among them.

Thanks for the warning, Blooper! I've just seen that and I found parts of two Smurf works of mine there.
One of my James Bond Smurf pics:
And a Smurfday gift art I had done for Cool Smurf.
I told the person that many of those Smurf pictures are fan art by several Deviant artists, and that (s)he was not allowed to make that kind of use. Still, I think a report might be necessary too. ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

Maybe (s)he hasn't imagined those Smurf fan art pics belong to several DA artists indeed. Still, they are not supposed to be used for commercial purposes anyway.

I've just entered those links again and I saw the following words:
"Sorry, you are unable to view this content"
And comments were disabled too. This made me wonder whether this attitude was to impede more complaints, since I entered DOWNLOAD SVG and found this: link

Well, I reported the person to DA Helpdesk, now it remains to be seen whether they'll really take measures.
