Even since the 1980s Smurfs cartoon aired in Chinese television on the same decade, you didn't know that Chinese artist has drawn unofficial comics about the Smurfs. But they have the Smurfs having crossover with famous Chinese folk legends at the time!
The one I can probably find online easily was the "Sun Wukong vs. Gargamel" comic. Here ya go, there's the book cover to prove it's existence:

"Plot description
Gargamel has found an magic bottle, he uses magic bottle to catch the Smurfs. Zhu Bajie has claimed to bravely rescuing them, but it was outsmarted by Gargamel and his magic bottle. With Sun Wukong's tricks, he has put Gargamel into the magic bottle, and can't let him out of it forever."

Page 2, this is where the fun starts. However, my translation is literal.
Gargamel: "Azrael, what stuff did you pull of here?"
Gargamel: "Ah, this is a book which is about magic. This is amazing!"
Gargamel: "There's a magic bottle in a old castle..."
Gargamel: "Must get that magic bottle!"
Azrael: (Just empty small speech bubble.)
Gargamel: "Ohhhhh- those darn Smurfs, I want to eat all of you!"
Smurf A: "Hahaha! Gargamel has fallen into the trap!"
Smurf B: "Really happy!"

Okay, I have seen the whole comic.
Why does Gargamel look like he took a sunbath?
Why is some panels the Smurfs look a bit larger? (In one panel, one of the Smurfs look a bit larger than Gargamel's part of his leg)
Well, we all know. Bootlegs are always bizarre. and they look so weird that they're funny!

Yeah. So you have seen the whole comic... at Smurfs Wiki. And also, for the Gargamel's skin color question, that was the colorist's problem. And bootlegs are always bizarre and look so weird that those were funny, though quality may varies.
And also, I still post pages so peoples who's on this BBS place might watch the rest with English translation. And anyways, here's the fourth page.
Evil Genie: "I'm your owner, I'll turn into anything you wanted!"
Gargamel: "?!?"
Gargamel: "I want to catch the rest of the Smurfs!"
Gargamel: (Gibberish) "Get turn into an house!"
Smurf A: "Come look at this, there's a beautiful house!"
Smurf B: "That might be look good inside it!"
(An unnamed Brainy Smurf-lookalike character spotted!)

Smurfs: "Haha!"
Smurf A: "Oh no, the house has started to floating!"
Smurf B: "Stop it, we want to get out!"
Smurf: "I understand! That's a part of Gargamel's trick!"
Smurf A: "Please everyone farewell, I'll think of something to rescue you guys!"
Smurf B: "Handy, you'll die from falling!"
Gargamel: "Get back here! You couldn't run away!"
Smurf: "Be quiet..."
Smurf: "Oh no, there's no road! What should I do?"
(... wait! Did the Smurfs call an normal blue Smurf as "Handy Smurf" by the mainland Chinese translation name?!)

(Gargamel has blown "Handy Smurf" into the sky... what?! Gargamel can blow a Smurf into a sky?!)
"HELP!! HELP!!"
Sun Wukong: "Oh no, I have to check the matter for a while!"
Sun Wukong: "Little doll, why are you here?"
Smurf: "Please help save our Smurfs!"
Sun Wukong: "This is my student Zhu Bajie!"
Zhu Bajie: "Don't be proud of that, let me pig to!"
Smurf: (thought) "Zhu Bajie!"
