Topic: Rate the voice of Papa Smurf

I'm curious as to wonder how people would rate the English voice actor for Papa Smurf through various forms of media, at least those voice actors who are known by the general masses. Here's a brief rundown of the voices of Papa Smurf:
1. Don Messick (1980s Smurfs cartoon show)
2. Jonathan Winters (Smurfs live-action movies)
3. Jack Angel (A Christmas Carol and The Legend Of Smurfy Hollow)
4. Mandy Patinkin (Smurfs: The Lost Village)
5. David Freeman (2021 Smurfs cartoon show)
For me, Don Messick is definitely THE iconic voice of Papa Smurf that I can't imagine anyone else's vocal performance topping his in any media.

Messick wins, with Winters coming in a close second (Only because Grandpa was one of my favorite characters and Papa in the movies really reminded me of him) Patkins, I have to admit, did a pretty good job though.

Messick was the best one. Patinkin sounded pretty similar to him. Winters sounded good for some reason to me, even though I think he sounds better as Grandpa Smurf (i wonder why ![[Razz]](tongue.gif) ). It seems to fit in with the rest of the movie.

Davis Freeman was actually probably the second best.
