Swappz has new collection of app interactive Smurf toy figures! The game objective is to nurture your Smurf by playing, feeding and exercising your Smurf! There are 8 different Smurf action figures - Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, Vexy, Clumsy, Grouchy, Vanity and Hackus. It's the game that lets you take care of your very own Smurf!

THE SMURFS Swappz - Game - Collectible Figures - Power-Up Coins
Swappz Interactive launched a line of mobile video games for iOS and Android devices based on kid-friendly properties like the Ninja Turtles, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and The Smurfs! Swappz believes it can stand out from the crowd because each game will be associated with a line of plastic character toys kids can scan with their smartphones, thus transporting the characters into the game. In addition, a coin system lets you purchase power-ups upgrades or unique characteristics for each character.
For Swappz, the merging of the video game and toy worlds is a move pulled from the playbook of Skylanders, Activision’s wildly popular line of video games that merges the virtual world with the physical by having players transport actual plastic figurines into the game via a portal accessory.
But while Activision and Disney — which has its own Skylanders-like line of toys and games called Disney Infinity — have focused exclusively on the console gaming market, Swappz is aiming to reach gamers who play primarily on mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
While Skylanders and Disney Infinity transport characters from the physical to the virtual world by having gamers place the action figures on a small NFC-enabled game pad, or portal, Swappz is leveraging a new 3D object recognition technology that uses the camera of a smartphone or tablet to scan the figure.
Bobby Stewart, the President of Swapz Interactive said, “Our strategy is to bring the action figure and merge it with electronics while emphasizing collectibility.”
Swappz’s collectable characters are about one inch square in size and feature a keychain as well as a compartment with scannable image in case the 3D scanning does not work due to lighting conditions. The toys will be manufactured by Canada's Goldy Toys. The games for both Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers are both arena brawlers while The Smurfs is more of a Tamagotchi-style pet care game. While the games work without the physical figures, the gameplay would be limited.

There are 48 Power-Up Coins to collect! Each Swappz Smurf Action Figure comes with a coin but you can also purchase coins separately.
The free mobile game is downloadable to your iOS or Android device and lets you play using the Swappz collectible characters and coin system that lets you purchase power-ups, upgrades or unique characteristics for each character. Swappz 3D Object and Image Recognition software lets you scan your characters and coins into the game. Once you scan, you're ready to enter the game and play.
