The Smurfs 2 Toys at McDonalds will be a worldwide promotion! The Smurfs global McDonalds promotion will be in North America (USA & Canada), Latin America (Brazil), Europe (Britain, Ireland) and Asia Pacific. Here's some more information...

Here's the 2013 McDonald's Smurf 2 Set that shall be launched here in Brazil by tomorrow (yep, a day before the movie is released!!).
2013 Brazil McDonalds Smurfs
The report where I found the pic also explains the way each Smurf toy works:
"#1 - Grouchy is the sullen Smurf; he doesn't like anything and is always scowling. By pressing the button, he shows his tongue.
#2 and #3 - Here's the Naughties: the fake Smurfs with grayish skin, Vexy and Hackus. Vexy's skin lights up in blue when you press the button on the back of her head. Yet Hackus is very comic and known for his cheeky smile. By pushing the button on the end of his flashlight, it will be illuminated with red LED.
#4 - With unique style, gentle, feminine and very charming, Smurfette is lovely. By pressing the back of her head, the magic wand that she brings lights.
#5 - Strong and very courageous, Hefty is the most athletic of the Smurfs and spends all the mornings doing exercises. Known for his heart tattoo on the arm, he walks while doing gymnastics when one winds he up.
#6 - Clumsy is always tripping over something and, despite his clumsiness, has often helped the Smurfs to escape the clutches of Gargamel. To see him whole in blue color, just push the button on the back of the toy.*
#7 - Brainy is always in search of information. Wearing glasses and always with a book in hand, he devotes his time advising the other Smurfs. To see him walk, just wind him up and at the same time his eyes will tour through the pages of the book.
#8 - Recognized for his red suit and white beard, Papa Smurf is the village chief and responsible for all the Smurfs. Often, he used his experience in alchemy to save them from danger. To pull the plate back and release it, it slides quickly across the floor."

I agree Squeaky, the Schleich and McD versions are very similar. The Smurfs must be attending the same party!
