Smurfberries - Gourmet Blueberries
In celebration of the theatrical release of The Smurfs 2 on July 31st, 2013, Gourmet Trading Company and Green Giant Fresh blueberries feature characters of the much anticipated film. From June 15th to August 31st collect all six characters featured on our blueberries and enter for a chance to win a trip to Hollywood and Smurfberry Farms!

The Gourmet Trading Company released special Smurfs Blueberries packages during the first Smurfs Movie as well.
The Smurfs Gourmet Blueberries came in a 6oz or 11oz. clamshell with a special Smurfs label you peel off and collect. There were several different characters - Smurfette, Papa Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, and Gutsy Smurf.

It would be interesting for a geneticist to play around with actually creating a smurfberry plant out of mere curiosity, having it resemble red blueberries.

In anticipation of the release of Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation’s The Smurfs™ 2, in theaters July 31st, Gourmet Trading Company is bringing back the iconic characters to the labels on their packages of California, Oregon and British Columbia blueberries.
As part of the promotion, from June 15th through September 30th, consumers can enter Gourmet Trading Company’s The Smurfs 2 Sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip for four to Hollywood and Gourmet Trading Company’s Blueberry Farm in Bakersfield. And it looks like one of the 6 different Smurf characters includes VANITY SMURF!!!
