Smurfy Vic, but... why is Brainy in prison when he is King Smurf? Shouldn't Jokey be in Jail? ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

Because in the comic books, Brainy didn't become King Smurf. It was an anonymous Smurf whom the Smurfs elected through voting because he made a lot of promises to them, gave them a rousing speech, took them out for a drink, etc....and Brainy was left as the unpopular choice because all he could offer them was his constantly wagging finger. And yes, Jokey did go to jail in the comic book, but in the breakout scene, Brainy got captured and put into jail in Jokey's place.

It is quite amusing that the Smurfs will speak "Smurf," but are unaware of the fact that most humans do not understand their language. For humans, the Smurf language seems gibberish to them.
And by reading the story, who is the man that the two entertainers met as he never mentioned his name? It is surprising that the two entertainers would simply trust a man whom they know little about. And by the way, "quidam" means "fellow" in French.

The two entertainers were a bit dumb. Don't you think?

I think "quidam" works in that spot, given the character who says it.
