When I watched the Smurf Movie at the theater last night, everyone really laughed when Gargamel would throw in Azrael to test the invisibility shield at the village or the magical gateway and then ask, "Are you dead, Azrael?"
Favorite moment for me was when everyone in my theater started singing the La La La Smurf Song at the end of the movie! I don't know who started it (it wasn't me!) but then everybody just joined in... it was so smurfy!
There were many more favorite lines and scenes for me... this is just a couple to start with!

I thought Hank Azaria made a Smurftastic Gargamel and should be nominated for an Oscar! i'm totally serious too. That role was played to Smurfection.

Narrator Smurf was annoying. But everything else was decent.
A full review is coming. Will have the time to do it in peace and quiet this week.

Remember "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs"?
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs End Theme
Spoiler alert!!!!
During the end titles, the Smurfs rebuild Smurf village in a new fashion based on their experience in New York, such as skyscrapers, playgrounds, and even the Statue of Liberty (modeled after Smurfette) and having fun.

Can't call it a favorite, but I do like them discovering their own metafictional lore both online and through a magical book shop that featured a book by (who else?) Peyo which helped them open the portal back to their own time.

I like the part when Grouchy answered Patrick's La La song question and says "I find it annoying."
