Here are some Smurf Model Sheets that the cartoonists used for the TV series. The model sheets show drawings of each Smurf character with different expressions and in various poses.

Pretty cool. I still like them better than the 1990s/2000s-style Studio Peyo versions of the same characters.

They look great. By the way how many of those sheets are there in total? I`m asking this question because there are about 100 smurfs in the village, and making a separate sheet for each smurf can be rather tiring.

For generic Smurfs that make up about half of the populace or more, they probably have one standard sheet for those type of characters.
