The Big Bang Theory Season 6
The Big Bang Theory - SMURFS!
Howard and Bernadette are dressed up as Smurfs - Papa Smurf and Smurfette!
" He’s not feeling up to the party, but she says that she spent the last three hours covering herself in blue paint, and she’ll be washing the paint out of her Smurf forever, so they’re going. She can’t go by herself because people will think she’s just a short person from Avatar. So Howard reluctantly stands to go, but as he leaves the room says, “just weeks ago I was an astronaut.” Bernadette follows him out and says, “Well, now you’re a Smurf!” "

i've seen several on Family Guy, South Park, The Cleveland Show and probably others too, but none of the ones i saw were very nice lol...i think when Cleveland dressed as Papa Smurf in Escape From Goochland, that was probably the least bad one i've seen. :-D

In the Rifftrax video intro, Gargamel is seen chasing after a couple of Na'vi from the James Cameron movie Avatar.

The Papa Smurf and Smurfette cosplay thing seems rather pervy in that scenario.

Ok, so you're not going to believe this, but while watching TV this afternoon, I found another Smurf reference!
On the TV show "The Thundermans" (on the same channel where New Touch Of Blue is going to be premiering in approximately 8 months from now, AKA Nickelodeon; or rather in my case Nicktoons USA), in the episode "Blue Detective", Max Thunderman (and also Phoebe Thunderman) have become blue.
During the course of the episode, there are references made to Cookie Monster and Avatar.
And one of them, not surprisingly, is a Smurf reference!
Max says: "Maddy?! I guess I'm irresistible even as an Angry Smurf!"
Original air date of the episode: 11/8/2014
Where's Grouchy when you need him?!
