Can someone please inspire me with a character to use as an antagonist for my little Spifties? I have been thinking about it long and hard. But I still can't come up with any idea of what I want. All I know is that it has to be an inhabitant of the planet of the Spifties. (which I still need a name for that as well...)
Think think think... What to do... What to do? How about we all come up with a design for an antagonist and come back in a few days to share our ideas and sketches... I will pick the best design and use it for my comics...

Here's mine.. Positive Spifty and Reticence Spifty(I should write that first spelling in capital letter!).. I tried to not make their personality same with Smurfs, So that's why there is only two of idea.

Those are adorable! Thank you for your idea!
I should add that when I said "antagonist," however, it means villain. Lol but great job on making some protagonists (good guys)!

Sorry, I didn't start yet. Still thinking of a story to begin the series... And on top of that I've been busy with all these "adulthood responsibilities" (ugh) but I will try to work on it some today if I get a chance to sit down and sketch some ideas down...

I may actually have to just start a Spifties role play and try to make a comic out of that... But I think I'll just wait it out, in case an idea pops up in my head.

I'm going to try... But it was a free app, and my stupid phone likes to act up on me quite a bit... So it probably will be a while before I have the first few pages of my comic complete...
But I will be sure to check in with you guys to let you know how it is progressing and to periodically post new chapters of my fanfic...

Actually... I'm sorry to announce that the application I was using to draw the comics deleted all my progress and caused my phone to malfunction. But now I have downloaded a better app for the job and I will be sure to keep working on the Spifties comic book...
I'm sorry for the dissapointment

Oopps sorry.. Btw, what app did you get now? I think medibang paint would be good, It have lot of professionalcartoon drawing tools. (But you must save picture when you exit, or it could be all canceled..)
And I hope you can continue your cartoon well..

I think so too... I get to add more layers to my drawing, so I can keep my characters and colors separate so I can work on one thing at a time without messing up the rest of the picture. I really like it!

Thanks a smurfload, Squeaky!
I'm trying to come up with villain-type characters... But I'm not sure what to make them look, or what I would call them...
If you'd like, (and have time) maybe you could help me?

Sure! Let's think a bit.. idea#1 - The evil emperor from a neighboring planet who plans to invade the planet of the Spifties to enslave them and rob their fur. He could look like a hairless rat;
idea#2 - An awkward and foolish monster* who wishes to catch the Spifties to have them as a meal, but never succeeds. In other words, a comic villain.
*Appearence to be studied about (Like a reptilian? An amphibian? A bird? Or ape-like?).

All those sound, as a Spifty would probably say, "Spift-taculous!"
If monster, I could possibly do something similar to what I used to do whenever I was (rather unfairly) banned from anything to do with Smurfs and caught myself about to draw one of our little blue pals...
The thing I did was start with the "skeletal" framework for a Smurf, but add (or replace) bits to it (ie: spinal extensions, swapping for tentacles or other kinds of legs... Adding/subtracting fingers... etc. The possibilities are infinite)
I might do a rough sketch or two tomorrow before my job interview...
Good night!
