Hi, I am a PVC smurf collector.

I have recently been offered the chance to buy a "I Love New York" apple smurf. I am aware that there are ones out there that are fake. Is there anything that I can look for on this smurf that would let me know that it is authentic?

Please help me if you can; or maybe you might know someone that might be able to tell me what to look for. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
