Using mostly PVCs, which include mostly characters that I wouldn't consider part of "the original 100", it would be a better promo for something like "Crisis Of Infinite Smurfs" or "ElseSmurfs" (a Smurf version of DC Comics' ElseWorlds comic books, which include stories like Kingdom Come and Batman/Superman: Generations).
Come to think of it, a promo idea for "Crisis Of Infinite Smurfs" would have something like a multitude of Smurf Villages overlapping each other and a voice-over saying:
"Smurfs will live, and Smurfs will die,
And the Smurf Village will never be the same."
