What's up Blue Buddies! What a great site.
I'm new here. My question is this:
Years ago, I ran into a fantastic site that showed a rating system of the Smurfs in comparison to ALL THE OTHER 80'S CARTOON SHOWS.
I mean... The Care Bears were in there, and Snorks, and Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, Monchhichis, Pound Puppies, Wuzzles, Teddy Ruxpin..... It was a great site!
And what it did was so cool... It gave a detailed comparison of every wholesome cartoon that played during that era, and how they stood up alongside Papa, Gargie, and the gang.
Is there anyone here who can lead me back to that website? Or just share with me if they too remember once seeing it? I'm very interested.
Thanks for putting together such a great online tribute to our little friends.

Haven't seen the site, but in my own opinion, the only cartoon shows that really stack up against the Smurfs as far as similar shows go are the Snorks from Hanna-Barberra (a refreshing alternate take on the Smurfs idea that has more gender diversity in its characters) and the Gummi Bears Adventures from Walt Disney (a smaller character cast to deal with, even though it also suffered from a glut of male characters). I still never liked the direction the Smurfs cartoon show went in the last season, since in my experience with cartoon shows, a show that has a specified goal as part of its main premise ends up foredooming itself to cancellation before ever reaching its climax.
