Hi Oppa, the blue/white lolly seems to be moderately hard to find - a genuine one anyway!
My blue/white lolly smurf is a fake, he came in a lot so he didn't cost very much but I would like to get a real one at some point and I suppose I would probably be willing to pay $10 max for him. This variation seems to have been sold in Australia so this is where the majority of them are for sale. I would certainly ask questions before buying one again.

Rachel,
Thanks. The fake blue/white ice-lolly you mention looks pretty good. Very hard to tell the difference between the real and the fake.
I've seen some really badly painted Hong Kong Smurfs from the 1980s (missing pupils, etc.) - and they were real...

Hi Oppa, I only recently discovered it is definitely a fake. I can just about see a tiny bit of red paint underneath the blue & white and I have checked that this variation shouldn't be overpainted.

Hi Kelly, if it is a blue and white lolly it should have no red underneath. Obviously it is difficult to tell without removing a spot of blue if it has been repainted well.
