First off, my apologies for the recent BBS downtime.
Our previous web host has sustained constant Denial-of-Service attacks and the BBS was totally inaccessible for many hours. In addition, around 95% of the site was deleted off the server - resulting in the loss of about one month's worth of data (messages and user registrations).
I've had a lot of trouble with our webhost in the past, but these recent problems represent the apex of their failure.
The good news - we now have a new webhost.
I've moved the site to a new location, developed a more robust backup plan, and taken other steps to ensure this doesn't happen in the future.
