I had a Thanksgiving dinner the evening before Thanksgiving with some friends of mine in our Bible study group and some friends of theirs from their local church group and all. We had a time of singing worship music afterward, which made for a rather interesting change from the usual "what do we do next?" kind of atmosphere that follows a Thanksgiving dinner. One of the songs I sang was "Give Thanks" from Don Moen:Give thanks with a grateful heart,
Give thanks to the Holy One,
Give thanks, for He has given
Jesus Christ, His Son. And now, let us say,
"When I am weak, then I am strong."
Let us say,
"When I am poor, then I am rich."
Let us know
It comes from what the Lord
Has done for us. Give thanks.
