"Happy Fourth of July!

Although some sites report differently, we're pretty sure they have it incorrect - Papa Smurf is indeed an American. Let's face the facts:

1] Papa Smurf is Red, White, and Blue;

2] Every Smurf figurine in the village is stamped with a copyright identification - the ultimate protection of intellectual property;

3] Smurf figurines cost only pennies to produce yet are sold at more than 150 times that price - capitalism at its finest.

So have fun celebrating the Fourth with something truly patriotic - papasmurf.org!

In case it is not obvious, we have a new scanner! All of our new scans will look better than ever (they'll have to - the old scanner was over a decade old)! We've already scanned a few pages from an Ice Capades program guide (located in the gallery), and the picture at the top of this page is scanned from a Smurfs bumpersticker Administrator Sassette picked up at Spencer's Gifts!
