Hey all. Has anyone got any insight to this little fella? It looks like one of those micro figures from an early 80s board game, but I can't seem to match it with the game. I've seen a game with black figures, but none with the little hook on the head; and I've seen a game with little figures with hooks on their head, but they have red, blue, green and yellow figures. Any ideas?

There are a few different types of these Smurf game board pieces. They can be solid color or partially painted (base painted or white hat & pants painted on).The micro sleepwalker Smurf design can also either have a loop (or no loop) on his head. There are even transparent ones!
These micro smurfs / mini smurfs are only around 2cm tall. They are made by Bully-Figuren and have a "Bully" mark on the base.
There are several board games that use these Smurfs as game pieces - see more photos below.

Compare your solid black Smurf (with loop) with these other styles of black sleepwalker Smurfs. In addition to the paint (or lack of), the rubber / plastic material is different between the designs.
Thanks for sharing the smurfy photo!

The Smurf game pieces with the loop on the head can be found in the "Le defi des Schtroumpfs" Smurf Board Game (The Smurfs Challenge). The Smurf figures are solid red, blue, green or yellow.
Notice that there are also laughing Smurf figures. There are a few different micro Smurf figures with loops on the head - Sleepwalker Smurf, Laughing Smurf and Olympic Torch Smurf. They are all solid colors of red, green, blue or yellow. The ones below have the eyes and mouth painted in black.

Thanks for the replies all, and the images posted are the ones that I've seen, but none of them show a black one with a hook on the hat. I just can't work out where it would have come from. I've got a few of the other little figures that I can see in the photos, so can match them to the noard game, but this black one I have is puzzling me. It's also a bit softer than the other little figures.

Your black smurf is that squishier material so it is unlike the pieces that I have typically seen with the board games (which are the harder material).
But I have seen different color variations with the pieces and spinners. I wonder if yours is from a different language variation of a Smurf board game? The softer material has me questioning if it is even from a board game. This is a mystery to me. I would be interested to see a game with the "softer" smurfs used as game pieces.
The material reminds me of some of the solid color 1980's Mexican Smurfs.
