The Smurfs: A Tale of Two Adventures
Gargamel, ever vengeful, casts a dark spell to create an army of mindless minions to kidnap Baby Smurf and nine other innocent Smurfs! It falls to the strong and determined Hefty Smurf to embark on a perilous adventure and rescue his captured friends before Gargamel can enact his sinister plans.
Gameplay Modes
The Smurfs game offers two distinct gameplay modes:
"It's a Piece of Cake": A Virtual Pet Adventure
Step into a lighter role, caring for Baby Smurf. This mode unfolds across six vibrant areas: The Forest, A Ski Run, Mole Race, The Mine, Iceland, and The Haunted Castle. Your mission is to collect rattles and baby bottles to keep Baby Smurf happy and healthy. Interact with the charming surroundings – chat with Smurfette, pet adorable rabbits, and even playfully target Brainy Smurf with an exploding surprise! Remember to pause between levels to tend to Baby Smurf’s needs, reinforcing the virtual pet element.
"It's No Picnic": A Hero's Journey
Take control of Hefty Smurf and navigate through ten challenging levels, each brimming with danger. Rescue the kidnapped Smurfs before confronting Gargamel himself! Beware of treacherous spikes, hidden pitfalls, and cascading rocks as you evade Gargamel's servants, swarms of bees, swooping bats, and other menacing creatures. Discover secret fighting and jumping skills by defeating special characters along the way. Collect 100 coins, candy canes, or other valuable objects within a level to earn an extra life. Utilize unique environmental elements, such as flowers that swallow you whole and magical mushrooms, to reach higher, inaccessible areas. Each level in "It's No Picnic" draws inspiration from the locations in "It's a Piece of Cake," but with new and unexpected twists.

| Start a new game and select the "It’s No Picnic" mode. Press X and wait for the video sequence to complete. Then press L1, Up (twice), Down, Up, Left (twice), Up, R2. |
