A Nightmare on Smurf Street is based on the movie franchise A Nightmare on Elm Street. I guess Gargamel will have a striped shirt like Freddy Krueger!

The Smurf versions of these classic scary movies are more suited to me... because I'm just a scaredy Smurf at heart!!!

The Smurfing Movie Poster (The Shining)
The Smurfing is based on the 1977 Stephen King novel, The Shining that was later made into a film with the same name. This psychological thriller stars Jack Nicholson - as seen on the front of the famous movie poster.
The Shining Story - Jack becomes the winter caretaker at the isolated Overlook Hotel in Colorado, hoping to cure his writer's block. He settles in along with his wife and son, who is plagued by psychic premonitions. As Jack's writing goes nowhere and his son's visions become more disturbing, Jack discovers the hotel's dark secrets and that's when things really begin to unravel.
