Giant Smurf Statue in Spain
Grumpy Smurf welcomes Lugones!
How interesting that the Giant Smurf Statue installation was completed at night at 11:30pm Thursday, February 2, 2024. Makes sense to do it with less traffic. And it creates a big smurfy surprise for everyone the next morning! It took several workers to install the colossal four and a half meters high Grouchy Smurf at the roundabout that gives access to the Puent Nora de Lugones industrial estate in Siero. They first installed Smurf and then the Bienvenidas a Lugones sign. The mayor of Siero, Ángel García said (translated to English), "This Smurf figure seeks to welcome people of all ages to live in a pleasant Siero."
