Who's for some Smurfday party next 23th?

And I remembered that a famous Brazilian anti-hero was also created this day - but 80 years ago, in 1943: o Amigo da Onça*, hence the crossover...
Created by the cartoonist Péricles Maranhão, he's a cynical and crafty guy who usually puts people in compromising situations.
*Literally: "The Friend of the Jaguar". Its equivalent expression in English means "a snake in the grass".

This is great Squeaky! The crossover is fun I like the purple wizard. Is his name "Amigo da Onça" or is that the comic??

In fact, the name means both the comics title and the character himself. Besides, in his adventures he would appear in several "roles": boss, employee, police commissioner, convict, herdsman, salesman, castaway, artist, waiter, cook, surgeon, lawyer, dentist... and even as a little boy! Therefore, since he got to the Smurf universe I realized to depict him as a wizard... ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

The Smurfs – 65th anniversary – Cinema Event at Kinepolis (Brussels) – Aftermovie
A compilation of 5 episodes from The Smurfs Season 2 was brought on the big screen at Kinepolis in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg for the pleasure of the whole family.
Enjoy the after-movie from the sold-out Avant-Première event in Brussels.
