I plan on dressing up as handy smurf for halloween. What would be the easiet way to get my outfit together? I'm not too fond of sewing a smurf hat and shoes.

I went as a general smurf a couple of years ago to a halloween party, and found that re the hat, just a pillow case with a bit of padding in and a rubber band worked just fine ( i too dislike sewing, especially after my efforts some years earlier to make winnie the pooh ears ).
Warning though, if you're planning on goign blue, i used some cheap face paint and it went everywhere, probably worth checking how water-resistant it is...
