I remember an episode where weakling Smurf finds out he's strong when Papa Smurf gives him a placebo making him believe he's taking a pill that makes him strong. He even finds out that's stronger than Hefty.
I don't ever remember this character appearing in the Smurfs ever again. Does he ever appear again I just didn't notice it?

Some think he became Tuffy just because both characters wore a belt, but I don't think so.

Weakling
Timid
Nosey
Nobody
Golf Smurf
Sweepy
Pushover

Well, I was talking about the 80s TV show. But you're right, you do see him in The Lost Village.
