Introduction: Through many hours of researching and observing Smurfs, the results I have concluded may astound you! Smurfs are indeed the master race. Throughout the course of history, many entities have believed they are superior, based on characteristics. These individuals are mistaken... or are they?
Smurfs: Smurfs are humanoid creatures, but also have notable differences to humans. For example, blue skin, only being 3 apples (about a foot tall) tall, small blue tails, etc. What Smurfs manage to do though, is to live in peace. Smurfs aren't naturally like this, as we can see in S1 E2 'King Brainy', but they need their Papa Smurf to keep them in line. Smurfs are extremely caring though and would all risk their lives to save one of their fellow Smurfs' lives. But before we can talk about Smurf Society, we need to talk about the time period in which The Smurfs is set.
Time Period: The Smurfs is set in medieval times. While Smurfs do have some similarities to medieval humans, they are also very different. For example, Smurfs don't have light bulbs, but they are capable of creating sentient robots (clockwork smurf).
Smurf Society: Smurfs live in a communal society. All Smurfs are equal, except Papa Smurf who is their leader. The Smurfs all eat at a communal kitchen together and have no currency. Smurfs only work to benefit each other. Societies have tried to do this before, but they have all failed. What sets the Smurfs apart is they do this successfully. Another great feat of this Smurfs is that they're all happy! You could say grouchy isn't happy, but he really is. He just has a bad attitude as implied in his name.
Conclusion: In conclusion, Smurfs are the master race. They are smarter than humans, live in a functional utopian society, and are always happy (excluding events like papa smurf leaving smurf village or smurfs worrying or thinking a smurf has died).
