Hi All,
Lazy Smurf.
Recipe.
Lazy - was done using the body of Grouchy smurf with his arms crossed and Brainy smurf's head with glasses removed which both are from Jakks Pacific. I puttied up the mouth to give him a smiling expressions and puttied up the joints and he was painted using Vallejo paints.
Base - is foam board with balsa wood underneath that to keep it from warping when the water was done. The ground work is a mix of spakfilla and sand with brown paint added and then applied to the base.
The rocks are foam covered in watered done spakfilla and then painted and the grass is clump bushes from Woodland Scenics. The plant and lily pads in the water are plastic plants which were given a light wash of Vallejo's medium green.
The fish pole and pole holder are balsa wood and the fishing line is string. The fish were done using putty and then painted and the water was done using Woodland Scenics Realistic water with a little Vallejo Model Air Pale blue added

Did you used the Jakks Grouchy figure with arms crossed for the body? It got perfect! And the little red fishes in the water look enjoyable too. ![[Happy Smurf]](graemlins/Happy_Smurf.gif)

I would like to see a sword-fighting Gutsy somewhere along the line, if it's possible to do anything with Gutsy. That is just my own personal fantasy. My other one would be seeing a movie interpretation of my fan-created character Tapper in an old-fashioned bar behind the counter serving up a glass of sarsaparilla ale.

In case you need to know what Tapper looks like, he's the Smurf on the right in this picture.

Here's one with Tapper holding a serving towel on the right arm and a mug of sarsaparilla ale in the left hand.
