I have a question for everyone about Disabled Smurfs (Original French title Les Schtroumpfs éclopés). Originally it was a 16-page French-language comic book distributed by the Association des paralysés de France (Association of Paralyzed France) and it came with two figurines, a smurf in a wheelchair and a smurf with a crutch. I have two questions. First, does anyone know if it also came with a third smurf who pushed the wheelchair? I've seen some pictures that might indicate this. Also, does anyone know if it is available in English?

No. In fact, I'm rather curious as to what's going on with Papercutz's next scheduled English translation "The Smurf Reporter", because it was originally scheduled for release for this January, then it was taken off Amazon.com's site, then it was brought back with the release date of December 2018, then it was taken off again. Still no official word from Papercutz on the issue.

For all I remember, Hefty18 (welcome to BB btw) sometimes these disabled Smurfs can be sold both sparely and with the comic book too: link (digit 'Disabled' in the search box); but not with a third Smurf included.
Here's an Association of Paralyzed from France ad (1994):

Help us to smurf disabled children and adults in your district buying our figurines and the comic book "The Disabled Smurfs".
"At every district, an APF delegation provide help to handicapped adults and children in their everyday life.
For each sold comic book, APF shall be reverted 10 francs; for each sold figurine, 6 francs."

Thank you! I have seen people selling a set of three online, and I suspect the mysterious third smurf pushing the wheelchair is actually a smurf from another collection (like a smurf supposed to be pushing a wheelbarrow, etc). But I wasn't sure if perhaps there was another set out there.

You're welcome. Probably the Smurf that pushes the wheelchair exists in the comics only. By the way, there are Smurf figurines with accessories added, named Super Smurfs. Just take a look! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

I'm looking for the name and if it has the number for a SMurf sitting in a wooden wheelchair. Check the pic, can anyone help?

Hello there, Bangle3col, welcome! This Wheelchair Smurf belongs to Promo Smurfs along with Smurf on a Crutch under the name Handicapped Smurfs. They've got no number but the acronym APF - "Association des Paralysés de France". I hope this helps! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
