So... imagine this: The Gnapurple disease (that's what I am calling the plague that created the Purple Smurfs) has effected everysmurf but... how fast can it spread? And where would you be safe until you find a cure? You got to take into consideration:

1. How fast do Purple Smurfs move?

2. Where do the Smurf stories usually take place?

So... research this and we'll survive!

Yeah, but how fast? And where does the story of the Purple Smurfs take place? It's things like this that we need to plug into Plague, Inc if we are to know where tho hide!

From what I know, the Smurfs live Belgium forest so... does anyone know any forests in Belgium?

Now for speed, by rewatching how fast Lazy moves when he first became a Purple Smurf and compare to distance using his height a measurement, we get his speed.

Now plug that into Plague, Inc and we'll find some safe spots.

The purple smurf virus can easily infect the entire village within an hour.

I would not suggest hiding... A purple is far too intelligent for a Smurf to simply "hide."

I suggest, during the next outbreak, we paint oursmurfs purple... If they can trick us into believing they are one of us, we can do the same with them.

Here's a clip of Lazy prior to his transformation, just so we know how much time he traveled:

Click here to see my file!

In it, we can determine his speed is 1 second. In order to calculate the speed, we need the distance and divide it by time! Then we need his acceleration. Combine that with the location of the village (which is somewhere in Belgium, given the creator) and we'll find out how long it'll take to spread and where to hide!

let me see... if d/t=r then 1/1=1 which means that the purple smurfs' speed is 1 meter per second (that's not very fast for a human, but it's very fast for a smurf)

As to the location and acceleration, that will be harder.
