Hello - first post on here. I've been a collector for a while and have most of the variations of the Rugby Smurf. However, I've got one that I'm not sure where it originates from. It has a dark blue shirt and red socks and is exactly like this one on eBay. Does anyone know the background to it?

Hello there, Mraelliott, welcome to Bluebuddies! Yes, your Smurf looks really rare, for I found him only right there. Please take a look. I hope this shall help!

Thanks for the reply. Interesting that they have one too. It seems to be the only one that hasn't been made with a country to explain the colours given but I'm wondering if it was for Italy?

You're welcome! I also wondered about which team that player would represent. It could really be the Italian one, although most players wear blue socks. Anyway... The website belongs to Christy, a very careful Belgian Smurf collector. ![[Happy Smurf]](graemlins/Happy_Smurf.gif)
