Sweet Smurf, it should have been smurfily apparent from the first post in this thread that this was about the movie. If you don't want spoilers, I'd suggest avoiding topics talking about it. That was just rude.

How would you feel if you went to the movie looking at this before hand? It just removes the weight of events like Smurfette's death, doesn't it?

I wouldnt have looked in the first place, because I'd recognize that this was a book version of the movie from the first post and not continue further. :/

Me neither. When I entered this topic and observed it a was a book version of the movie, I left at once. This was just for everysmurf that had already watched it, after all.
