Oooh one of my favorite episodes of the Smurfs was on Boomerang yesterday. Its the one called Jokey's Medicine where he plays pranks on everyone and the other Smurfs finally get pushed too far.

I just love the scene where they escape from Gargamel's Castle!

Hey Sass,

I remember this episode from when I was a kid! Sadly I cannot catch the smurfs on tv. I don't have pay/cable tv but I'm sure my kids would love to see it too!

Bet the movie was great! Never saw that as a kid.

There is a VCD collection of Smurfs episodes available via eBay from time to time, I recall.

It's a pretty expensive collection from what I've seen, and who knows how good the quality is. I think it's all ten years worth of episodes, but I'm not certain.

I worry about the fakes out there. Fake smurfs, fake stickers, vcds perhaps??

The VCDs look like a professionally licensed product, but I haven't really looked into it.
