Hi crutter,
Welcome to BlueBuddies!
And welcome to the fun of Smurf Collecting!!!
I don't think different mold numbers really affect the values. There are, however, some collectors who try to collect the different countries or the different color dots on the bottom of each figurine.
Many collectors are interested in the different paint color variations for the same Smurf figures. For example, "lemon" yellow vs the "mustard" yellow.
It's really up to you to decide which duplicates you want to keep because some of them may have some differences (other than the mold numbers) - like country stamps, manufacturer stamps, paint dots or paint variations or even "mistakes" due to the hand-painted nature of the figures.
In terms of value, the rare paint variations will fetch a higher value to a avid Smurf Collector. An original Muster Smurf will be very valuable too.
See more about Smurf Figurines Markings here.
Hope this helps!
