Hello all,
I am posting here to see if anyone has information on a pewter Smurf village my recycling friend has come across. So far we have learned it is a one of a kind, and made by a guy who owned American Pewter(?) but haven't found any info on American Pewter. Here are some pics.

My buddy is likely going to want to sell this item, so we are trying to figure out what it is worth.
We are not Smurf collectors, I am kind of a fan I dig the Smurf's style, they do have have that laid back take it easy Dude quality. My buddy just likes trading collectibles. So yeah man, any help you guys could give us would be awesome. Thanks for your time Smurf Dudes.

Hi Dudely Smurf,
Welcome to BlueBuddies!
You have the smurftastic American Pewter Company "Smurf Village". It is from the 1980s. The American Pewter Company released at least 37 different pieces as part of its Smurf Series. Your piece shows them all together in one display!
The American Pewter Smurf figures are very collectible. Each little figure typically sells for anywhere from $25 - 75. The titled pieces sell for even more. And you have the whole Smurfs Village!!!
Learn more about Pewter Smurfs - including the American Pewter Smurfs HERE.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Smurfy Dudes,
I think we are going to sell it on Ebay, figuring this is worth about $3500-8000, somewhere in there. Going to list it with a starting bid of $3,500, that doesn't sound out of line to you guys does it? It has been a long winter and this may be the good find we needed.
Thanks for your help guys. I'll be on the look out for more Smurf collectibles now too.
