The shows had original broadcast dates, but don't confuse them for chronological order, because the episodes aren't presented in a serialized manner, with only a few exceptions like "The Smurfs That Time Forgot", "Lost In The Ages", and "Cave Smurfs", all three of which are part of the same story arc. Also, before Smurfs Adventures came along, Seasons 3 and 4 tended to air episodes from Season 1 to fill up the 90-minute time slot.
As far as introductory episodes go: Season 1 didn't have one, unless you count "The Smurfette" as one. Season 2 has "The Cursed Country" for Johan and Peewit. Season 3 has "Once In A Blue Moon" for Baby Smurf and "All Creatures Great And Smurf" for adult Nat. Season 4 has "The Pussywillow Pixies" for both them and the Wartmongers. Season 5 has "The Smurflings" and "Sassette" for, well, you know... Season 6 has "Smurfquest" for Grandpa Smurf Season 7 has "Smurf On The Wild Side" for Wild Smurf. Season 8 has "Lost Smurf" for Nanny Smurf and Smoogle. Season 9 has "The Smurfs That Time Forgot" for the whole time-traveling season.
