After my first day at my new job today, I was thinking of my favorite Pat Benatar song and came up with the following parody while driving down the freeway. It's an anthem Vexy sings declaring her independence from that woebegone wizard Gargamel and her allegiance to her new adopted family the Smurfs.
So with apologies to Ms. Benatar, here are the words to "Smurf Me With Your Best Shot (Vexy's Theme)":

Thanks Vic, Amy Sue and Sassette on your comments. Again, I think I nailed it!
Feel free to download and recolor Vexy's dark blonde hair back to its official style.
In another story idea called "Curse of the Mummy", Vexy finally thrashes Gargamel in a wild rage. Long story short, Gargy's cranky Mummy doesn't understand why her loser son is so obsessed with the Smurfs, especially after she encounters and befriends Smurfette and Vexy while they're gathering wild berries.
When they fall into one of Gargy's old traps--a deep hole they can't climb out of--sonny boy finds them and tells Mummy she can stay down there because he's been "deep in a hole" all his life and it's sweet revenge. That Gargy would abandon his own Mummy like that just blows Vexy's top. She rockets out of the hole loudly growling like a wildcat, knocks Gargamel to the ground and yells "YOU'RE GONNA RESCUE YER MUMMY RIGHT NOW AND YOU'RE GONNA LIKE IT!!!" ![[Mad]](mad.gif) She repeatedly punches his banana nose like a punching bag in fury. In my Smurf fan stories Vexy is the only Smurf that Gargamel is scared of because of that violent temper which is usually kept in check, but this is where she's at her vexing worst, and for a good cause too--her Grandmummy.

I can assure you that Gargy has regretted the day he ever turned Vexy into a Smurf. His craziest creation is now against him, just like all the other false Smurfs before her.
I hope that the lovable little fireball has more hand-drawn animated appearances beyond that cameo in "Smurfy Hollow", but I'm not counting on it. I think I'm the only one actually animating her, but that doesn't count.

@Amy Sue: Thanks for the feedback! To tie the story "Curse of the Mummy" to how Mummy really was in the TV series, I'm adding that she originally was on her son's side in taking out the Smurfs. But she finally let him go because that hatred for our little friends became a fruitless obsession. And what makes Gargy think he can really turn Smurfs into gold when all his other spells and enchantments always end up in epic failure? ![[Gargamel]](graemlins/gargamel.gif)
Mummy befriends Smurfette and Vexy because she finds them charming, friendly and talented in always getting the best of her loser son. She also is outraged he would create yet another false Smurf only to want her on the dinner menu when she became good. "The Gargamels are known for eating their own anyway, so why should that surprise me?" she snorts.
When Gargy finds that even his dear Mummy has somewhat gone over to the smurfy side, he just goes insane, hence the growl that she could stay in that hole, even though he really doesn't mean it. Too bad for him Vexy took it seriously.

That doesn't surprise me, because his Mother was blind about the hate at first, but then she is friends with the Smurfettes and realizes that they're not bad at all, now she will make Gargamel change his ways, maybe

Thanks again for the smurfy reply, thatonesmurfx1031! I just find the idea of Mummy befriending the girls behind her son's back ROTFL hilarious!
And no, Gargy's not going to change. Look at how many times in the comics and on TV the Smurfs saved his butt and he never returned the favor.
